@DrChrisJardine @thesolarblogger @DrSimEvans It was explained to me yesterday that marginal is the economist's preferred choice but average may be just as valid and easier to understand. The next level is intensity per hour compared to when energy is saved, rather than a yearly average...!

@DrSimEvans @DrChrisJardine @thesolarblogger I was assuming both are changing over time (although funnily enough, Alberta gov reporting is only static intensity figure which gets changed every ~5 years). For analysis of longer term EE measures, dynamic intensities obviously change the equation.
