@RWCook51 Someone asked him in an interview (one he actually answered questions in) about his dancing, and he said he didn't plan or rehearse certain moves or routines - he could just do it on the fly.
@chungking151994 Thank you! I had no idea my friend was even in Goodfellas until Ray Liotta died, and she posted something to say he was nice on the set.
Happy Pride Month from Alfred Hitchcock's movie "Rope" (1948). A character played by Jimmy Stewart is invited to a dinner party where food is served on a chest containing the dead victim - Released at a time when the Hays Code referred to homosexuality as "forbidden love."
@RWCook51 Odd because only interested parties listen to commentary tracks in the first place. You like a movie, and want to know everything? Ya got it!
@RWCook51@FlaggHazel2 Interesting to see Mae Clarke (Dr. Frank's fiancé) and Frederick Kerr (Baron) before "Frankenstein." You also get an early Bette Davis. But sadly boring as a pre-code movie. I bought it as a 3-pack DVD of pre-code movies released by TCM.
@RWCook51@FlaggHazel2 A few days ago I watched the 1931 version of the movie with the same title. Was amazed that it was the movie James Whale did before Frankenstein - both released in 1931.
@RWCook51@TheCinesthetic Ebert wrote that "The Flintstones" has one joke: Things that should not be made of rock are made of rock. Great production for a movie no one asked for.
