Abdul El-Sayed is now saying he will not work with Democrats because he is starting his own party.
He ran as a Democrat, used the Democratic primary process, and accepted Democratic support to get elected. Now that he has the office, he is walking away from the party that put him there. The move is not a surprise to anyone who watched his record. It is the logical next step after the election is over.
He needed the Democratic machine to win. He no longer needs it to hold power.
@udreams30@NathanielSami Well republicans allowed democrats to steal another election no FUKKING way did they win every state by double digits seriously you have to be stupid AMERICA IS NOW A COMMUNIST ISLAMIST COUNTRY AWESOME DEMOCRATS LETS BLAME TRUMP
Texas Governor-Elect Hinojosa Puts Tesla Jobs on Notice With Tax Ultimatum
Texas Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa is wasting no time signaling that the pro-business climate that turned the state into an economic powerhouse is now under threat. Reports circulating online claim she has issued an ultimatum to Elon Musk: Tesla must accept significantly higher tax rates on its Texas operations or reconsider continued manufacturing at the Gigafactory, including Cybertruck production. The message is clear enough even if the precise wording is still being sorted. Pay more or risk the jobs walking.
Dogecoin creator Billy Markus cut straight to the absurdity. Disincentivizing car manufacturing inside the United States and inside Texas, then calling it leadership, is not economics. It is performative hostility toward the very companies that built the state's recent boom. Tesla's Austin-area plant employs thousands, draws suppliers, and puts real paychecks into Texas households. Threatening that base because a Democrat now holds the governorship is the kind of move that empties factories and fills U-Hauls headed for friendlier states.
Hinojosa spent the campaign railing against corporate subsidies and Musk's deals under Greg Abbott. She promised to end what she calls corporate welfare and redirect the money toward residential property-tax relief and other priorities. That rhetoric always sounds better on a podium than it does on a balance sheet. States that chase revenue by punishing the largest employers eventually discover the employers can leave. Texas thrived precisely because it refused to play that game while California and others drove companies out with taxes, regulations, and political theater.
The practical barriers remain. A GOP-controlled state Senate is unlikely to rubber-stamp punitive rate hikes aimed at one high-profile company. Existing incentive agreements are contracts, not suggestions. Still, the posture matters. Companies deciding where to site the next billion-dollar line look at more than current law. They look at whether the new administration treats successful manufacturers as partners or as targets. Hinojosa's early signals on data centers, land deals, and tax incentives already answer that question in the negative.
Texas workers do not benefit when politicians treat job creators as an ATM. They benefit when the state stays competitive, keeps taxes low, and lets factories expand instead of issuing ultimatums. Hinojosa campaigned on changing that formula. Texans who just watched the economic results of the previous approach now get to watch what happens when the formula is reversed.
She is vastly overestimating the power she and the Democrats presently have. Veto Trumpelone stands in their way but when have they ever let facts and reality stand in the way of the promises they make to ignorant and gullible cultists? You can bet that right this minute some of their best minds (and there's not that many of them), are working on the most sure-fire ways to steal the 2028 presidential election even more effectively than they were able to steal the 2020 election for Ventriloquist Hussein 666 Obama and his meat puppet Joe.
I'm pretty sure their best fixer/lawyer Marc Elias is leading up that Brain Trust.
Marc Elias’s 2020 pre-election legal campaign expanded mail voting and drop boxes via courts, often bypassing legislatures.
Democratic election lawyer Marc Elias (then at Perkins Coie, later Elias Law Group/Democracy Docket) coordinated or was involved in dozens of lawsuits in 16–19+ states in 2020. He pushed his “Four Pillars” of expanded mail voting: prepaid postage, counting ballots postmarked by Election Day even if received later, easier signature matching, and allowing third-party ballot collection. Most suits cited COVID-19 as creating urgency that legislatures had not fully addressed.

Key examples:
Pennsylvania: The Democratic-majority state Supreme Court extended the mail-ballot receipt deadline from Election Day to Nov. 6 and authorized drop boxes. The U.S. Supreme Court deadlocked 4-4, leaving the ruling in place. Biden won the state by ~80,000 votes amid a large mail surge.
Politico
Wisconsin: Administrative guidance enabled hundreds of drop boxes and expanded absentee use. Federal efforts to extend deadlines were blocked by the Supreme Court; a later conservative state Supreme Court ruled many drop boxes unauthorized by statute.

Other states saw consent decrees or court orders suspending witness requirements, easing deadlines, or expanding access (e.g., parts of Minnesota, North Carolina efforts). Some suits lost or were limited.

These changes violated the Constitution’s Elections and Electors Clauses, which assign authority over the “Times, Places and Manner” of elections and the manner of appointing electors to state legislatures (subject to Congress). The “independent state legislature” theory holds that courts and executives should not rewrite those rules.

The result was a historic expansion of mail and drop-box voting (over 65 million mail ballots nationally). Democrats used mail voting at higher rates than Republicans. Courts, election officials, and audits found no widespread fraud sufficient to change the presidential outcome. Whether the procedural shifts were decisive in the closest states remains contested; they clearly increased the volume of ballots counted under rules not enacted by legislatures alone. It used litigation to achieve partisan rule changes the legislatures had not approved.
Democrats spent months running on affordability. Voters ranked cost of living and the economy #1. Immigration wasn’t in the top 5.
Three days after the election, Flanagan’s priority is “ripping ICE apart.” ICE is funded through 2029. So let’s get its ass focused on what democrats promised America!
Americans are still focused on grocery bills, gas, and healthcare.
Every single day we need to remind and hold democrats accountable for delivering what they campaigned on! AFFORDABILITY!
FLANAGAN VOWS TO RIP ICE APART.
Minnesota's new senator elect told her victory crowd she will tear the agency down and replace it. Border cops heard the threat on day one.
They enforce the law.
She campaigns against it.
🚨BREAKING: Lancaster, Pennsylvania officials have BUSTED a large-scale fraudulent voter registration scheme that includes thousands of applications with the same handwriting, fake signatures, false addresses, etc.
They discovered the same scheme in other Pennsylvania counties.
District Attorney Heather Adams revealed that the applications came from canvassers who were paid to obtain voter registrations, adding that "The majority of the applications were from residents in the city of Lancaster... The canvases themselves took place at various shopping centers, parking lots of grocery stores and businesses, sidewalks and parks."
"We are aware of at least two other counties that receive similar applications that are currently being investigated."
🚨 BREAKING: A principal in Pennsylvania just drew a line and didn’t blink.
Students tried to stage an anti ICE walkout during school hours.
Daniel Weber walked straight outside and shut it down.
His message was simple. You want to protest on school time? You’re suspended.
That’s called leadership.
Schools are for learning. Not activist field trips. Not political theater.
Parents send their kids to get an education, not to join street rallies in the middle of the day.
More backbone like this.
Less chaos.
More adults in the room. 🇺🇸
🤔An anomaly is something that is strange or highly unusual. It can also be defined as a pattern deviation from what is normal, usual, or expected. Anomalies happened nationwide, funny how no anomalies favored the red side.
In Arkansas (my state and a solid red state), Democrats flipped 10 House seats (plus 1 Senate seat), breaking the Republican supermajority in the House that had lasted since 2016. This was the democrat party’s largest legislative gain in Arkansas in more than 20 years.
