Some thoughts on SP stapler in a robotic nephrectomy — BMI 52, TIGHT retroperitoneal space. 🎥
✅ Fires clean, control & maneuverability excellent
✅ Advanced SP access kit = assistant gets 1–2 instruments in alongside your robotic arms
⚠️ Access kit footprint is overkill for cases like radical prostatectomy
Overall tho- Great value where working space is tough

STEP (SP RASP) for BPH. Excellent outcomes with 360° VU anastomosis shown in 3x. Watertight , minimal EBL, no CBI, same-day discharge. Catheter out day 5 in a previously foley-dependent patient - now voiding spontaneously with minimal PVR (shared w/ pt consent).
