No one publishes a 30-year total, but roughly $30 billion in international aid and peacekeeping has gone to Haiti since the mid-1990s, not counting the many charities, large and small, that have operated there:
• 2010–2018: $11.6 billion in foreign aid after the earthquake
• 2019–2023: about $4.5 billion more
• 1994–2009: an estimated $6–10 billion
• Peacekeeping: $7.2 billion for the 13-year MINUSTAH mission
Purchased was a capital 90% controlled by gangs - with the nation not providing security, water, electricity, or garbage collection.
Today, Haitians are helping Salvadoran patrols and pastors are advocating Bwa Kale. El Salvador, the smallest country on the American mainland, will achieve success in three weeks or three months rather than three decades, because it follows a different path: The path of God.
The international community, and the academics who supported them, should write another report, this time on why their recipe was so poisonous to everyday Haitians, in Haiti and everywhere else it has been applied.
Haití ayudó a liberar a América Latina.
We finished the gangs in El Salvador.
We can finish them in Haiti too.
President @nayibbukele has over 95% support here because he treats crime effectively—street gangs and politicians alike—for the citizens.
Many Haitians in the street already support him. Soon he will have 95% of them too.
One objective: bring our four technicians home alive. No empty threats.
I support the President.
Dear Ambassador Duncan, thank you for your tireless work on behalf of El Salvador. Your dedication has made a lasting impact, and it was deeply meaningful—for both my wife and me—to share in a relationship marked by such mutual respect and purpose with you and Nora.
We hope you remain close in geography, but regardless of distance, please know that you will always remain close in our hearts.
@nayibbukele As a signatory CA Union contractor, I saw Oakland & SF Ironworkers exploit immigrant labor—denying them healthcare, retirement & annuities. When these workers were deported under Obama, the unions pocketed the benefits. They didn’t stand up—they cashed in. #LaborJustice#TVPA
@LeadingReport The TVPA clearly targets enablers of human trafficking. If judges won’t enforce it due to politics or support for popular malcontent—as seen in Soros-backed agendas—Rep. Chris Smith and Congress must clarify the law. Justice should never be optional. #HumanTrafficking#TVPA
@JDVance Hopefully, the U.S. will partner with El Salvador in leading the Americas toward true sustainable development—through security and growth. The Bretton Woods model has failed. Look at the collapse of nations of the Americas-starting with Haiti, with Colombia picking up pieces.
@msandoval2548 @USEmbassySV@nayibbukele@DeputySecState@USAenEspanol@PresidenciaSV@StateDept@WHAAsstSecty Don't worry about buying land in El Salvador's poorest areas. Crime is down, and freedom has boosted property value. President Bukele's reforms have created a culture hard to reverse. But beware: enemies like certain media & Soros-backed groups aim to undo these gains.
@JXWrite@nayibbukele The TVPA allows DOJ to prosecute not only traffickers like Abrego Garcia, but also those who fund, enable, or profit from trafficking—like Soros-backed media networks or unions using illegal labor. Under 18 USC §§ 1591, 1594 & 1595, willful blindness is no defense.
@elsalvador@nayibbukele Yes, the president has demonstrated to the world that the term sustainable development is functionally implemented as security and development.
@EricLDaugh Poor seniors just earning a little extra retirement money. NGO's that are funding this mess are the same ones that have supported terrorists and poor workers alike coming into the country.
@nayibbukele I am so happy that we have a Gulf of America, and soon a "Security and Development Plan for America". For America, that spans from Pole to Pole.
