On this day 2023, fentanyl test strips are no longer considered paraphernalia in Mississippi, educators are protected under the Good Samaritan Act for administering naloxone, Tianeptine is now a schedule Ill controlled substance, the MS Collaborative Response to Mental Health Act to reform mental health care in MS is enacted, Medicaid coverage for postpartum mothers is extended from 60 days to 1 year, and fentanyl and drug abuse prevention programs are added to school health curricula.
