@RogersHelps So, while I am watching the World Series through my Sportsnet subscription I keep veering knocked off with a Code 22. I’ve rebooted and still can’t watch the game. It happened several times last night. Really sucks!
@FoodProfessor I have been crossing the U.S.- Canada border multiple times a year since 1967, and in my experience, nothing has changed. Sometimes I get lots of questions, and other times virtually no questions at all. In my view, the difference is with the border officer one encounters.
@Austin_Medzz@kim_gaetz Too bad the CBC published Carney’s and Singh’s responses to the tragedy first thing this morning, but didn’t bother to publish Poilivre’s. Finally, late this afternoon, they buried his response inside an article which once again highlighted the NDP-Liberal response.
@kim_gaetz@MgtmMoisan Then do the honest thing and apologize for your original, misleading post, your maligning of Poilievre. Then publish a new post with the truth.
I condemn in the strongest terms the horrific terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir that took the lives of innocent civilians, including tourists and families.
Our hearts are with the victims, their loved ones, and all those affected. Canada stands united against terror in all its forms.
Shame on @CBCNews for carefully reporting comments by Carney and Singh regarding the Vancouver tragedy, but failing to report Polievre’s comments. I had to get his response from The Guardian, a British publication. Your bias is undeniable.
@MattWalshBlog Of what value to the well-being of a nation is a tweet that is clearly a lie? All 12 jurors had to agree for a charge to be upheld. 12 jurors unanimously agreed on all 34 counts.
@RogersHelps I don’t really want to get into a conversation tonight. I doubt I’m the only one experiencing it. It comes and goes - right now it seems cleared up. But it is a regular frustration.
Same old story here in Brooklin, ON this Family Day evening @RogersHelps! Trying to watch a program while dealing with buffering just wrecks the experience.
Thanks @rogershelp for lousy cable reception most evenings in Brooklin, ON. Not interested in direct messaging about it - just wanting better service for the hundreds of dollars/month we spend.
@CBCNews@CBCAlerts The CBC News app has been my primary source for Canadian news for several years, but the increased use of pop-up ads has made reading absolutely annoying and almost impossible. I’m looking at other options now.
I just finished this excellent primer on early church history by Perry Edwards. I would place it alongside the book "The Spreading Flame" by F.F. Bruce as a very readable, faithful introduction to our family story, from a Protestant perspective.
Highly recommend.
