I am now 100% convinced that African politicians created Pan Africanism so that they could use it as a tool to shift blame from themselves to foreigners to hide their own failures.
Pan Africanism is one of the most destructive ideologies to the progress of black people.
@SongahDaniels@AfricanPatriot_ That's precisely my point: acknowledge exploitation, demand accountability & build. Constantly explaining our present through our past without examining what we're doing with the resources and sovereignty we have today isn't critical thinking either.
More Excuses
@SongahDaniels@AfricanPatriot_ India was exploited by Britain & still faces serious problems yet it has also built globally competitive industries, technology, infrastructure & institutions. So what exactly is your argument? That India is incapable of changing its trajectory because of British exploitation?
@SongahDaniels@AfricanPatriot_ To some extent but that's different from claiming the IMF/World Bank deliberately maintain poverty. Policy failures by African governments, debt management, corruption & weak institutions also matter. You can't outsource all responsibility to Bretton Woods.
EXCUSES!!!!
Believing the earth is flat requires rejecting the entire modern scientific method & treating observable reality as fake. You have to be an extreme dimwit to believe the earth is flat in 2026.
@SongahDaniels@AfricanPatriot_ We should acknowledge what colonialism did without turning it into a permanent explanation for why we cannot progress. History can explain where we started but it doesn't have to determine where we end up.
Change your mindset you Africans
@SongahDaniels@AfricanPatriot_ Many nations that exist today were born out of conquest, occupation, civil wars, exploitation and brutal imperial rule. Yet some of them eventually rebuilt, reformed their institutions and prospered.
@SongahDaniels@AfricanPatriot_ EXCUSES!!!
Africans growup, take responsibility, be accountable. The past has happened, take control of the future now and stop crying
@NEPHLM328443 Earthquakes and other geological hazards are part of the normal dynamic processes of our planet. The Earth has experienced periods of far greater seismic and volcanic activity than what weโre witnessing today, so stop what you don't know
@It_is_Thuita Africa isnโt exempt from natural disasters, itโs just that the frequency, type and intensity vary by region. Earthquakes and volcanoes are concentrated around tectonic boundaries while floods, droughts, landslides etc also occur frequently across Africa.
