@SongahDaniels @AfricanPatriot_ To some extent but that's different from claiming the IMF/World Bank deliberately maintain poverty. Policy failures by African governments, debt management, corruption & weak institutions also matter. You can't outsource all responsibility to Bretton Woods.

@It_is_Thuita Africa isn’t exempt from natural disasters, it’s just that the frequency, type and intensity vary by region. Earthquakes and volcanoes are concentrated around tectonic boundaries while floods, droughts, landslides etc also occur frequently across Africa.
