With all staff previously on Band 1 now on Band 2

HCAs are still expected to carry far more responsibility for the same pay

Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) earn not much more than min. wage

HCAs (band 2) / £24.5k (flat rate)
Nurses (band 5) / £31k-> £38k (after 4yrs)
Doctors - £39k-> £74k (after 5yrs)
