What people choose to do with that evidence if they examine it is another matter of course.

@JohnVM1979 @EstherMcVey1 TBF a no confidence vote in the electorate and the system might be appropriate. Low turnouts, decisions based on partial information and influenced by issues of popularity or loudest voices! All feed a system where every vote is clearly unequal.
