Learning to look at board service through the lens of trust this morning. The 8 C’s of “the pillars of trust” ….not to be confused with the 5 D’s of Dodgeball… are Clarity, Compassion, Character, Competence, Commitment, Connection, Contribution, & Consistency. #COSSBA26
Addressing the elephant in the room with @drleepritzl. This has been a fun, interactive, and engaging session to close out the day learning about Toxic traits/people and how we can resolve these issues through self reflection and focussed, thoughtful questioning. #COSSBA26
Volunteering is often a thankless job……but every now and then, you get a cookie! :-D
I had a fantastic time yesterday volunteering at the registration/information desk at #COSSBA26
Thanks for the Cookie
The future requires the skills and abilities needed to pivot multiple times - today’s emerging generation will live longer and need to pivot multiple times throughout their lives in order to be successful. Failing early and often is a great key which unlocks learning! #COSSBA26

We’re all guilty of a few of these, and your bias can definitely change depending on your perspective and the situation. It’s a good reminder to pause, reflect & challenge your perspectives before making assumptions or important decisions that impact the district #COSSBA26
Love that a presenter is discussing the Dunning-Kruger effect at #COSSBA26. It’s great to have honest conversations about common biases and how those can influence your perspective!
I’ve never seen it framed this way, but what a universal truth. “I Love This Place” truly does come from a place of mutual love and respect - when your “place” loves you, it really does make all the difference in the world! #COSSBA26
I did not think I’d be hearing about destructive/constructive interference of waves at COSSBA this year, but the science/music nerd in me is giddy to see these principles used to discuss what happens when leaders and their organizations are misaligned vs aligned. #COSSBA26
You can add value by growing as a leader, but more importantly you can AMPLIFY that value by growing those skills in others. “Tough and Tender” leadership is a great way to bring this to life in your area.

“I Love This Place” just four words, but such a powerful mindset to have. So thankful I decided to start the day learning about culture & Leadership! Leadership is not what you do, but who you are - at all times, everywhere, everyday. #COSSBA26
Although the training is top notch, and the speakers are phenomenal year after year - it’s the personal connections and conversations, the networking that makes all the difference #KSBA26
Closing out the weekend learning about ethics in the age of social media. Keeping posts focused on the facts, where to find more info and try to shine a light on positive news throughout the district and community at large. Fantastic job by Brenna ! #KSBA26
Closing out the day learning about a powerful program available to KY students. JAG - Jobs for America’s Graduates Kentucky. JAG supports students with the highest needs, giving them skills, direction, and purpose for a successful future in college, careers or military. #KSBA26
