@ChadSteingraber Here's a counteroffer: Pass the CLARITY Act as is, or there will be no CLARITY Act, no ethics provisions, and leave it to the SEC and CFTC to write the rules, including permitting full and unfettered stablecoin yield. Banks may regret that gamble.
@_TrevisanX@Cryptoinsightuk Basically, open interest going up while price is going down just means leverage is piling in, not real buying or selling. That usually ends with a sharp movev one way or the other, and with RSI already in the low-mid 40s it’s usually shorts that get caught once selling dries up.
@coinbureau Trump has no reason to pardon SBF, he’s still seen as a toxic pariah after stealing billions from customers, unlike CZ whose case was regulatory, not outright fraud. SBF won’t ever be a player in crypto again. No upside, massive downside.
@FRMillionaires @lindsaybitcoin You can buy fractions, sure. But Bitcoin has 21M coins, XRP up to 100B. Normalize supply and use today’s prices: XRP comes out around $9k vs BTC at ~$90k. That still makes XRP roughly 10× cheaper
@Settsu77681635@dustybc SOL can still do well, but XRP spot ETF AUM is already larger than SOL’s, despite SOL having a head start. That says a lot about where institutional demand is actually going.
@ronkim2479 @beyond_broke I don’t think XRP ever fully decouples. Crypto trades as one risk asset, so BTC, XRP, equities, rates, and headlines usually move together. XRP will move on its own during XRP-specific events like a supply shock. If XRP ever gets big enough, the relationship could flip.
@Epicure91075743@ChadSteingraber Realistically if ETFs keep taking in at this pace, you’re probably looking at something in the next 4 to 8 months. It really just comes down to how fast the liquid float gets eaten up. And if inflows accelerate from here, that window could tighten a lot faster than people expect.
@Steph_iscrypto Looks like more XRP is shifting into diamond hands, and with ETFs pulling supply out at the same time, the liquid float keeps shrinking. Supply shock incoming.
@dom_kwok I’m not convinced there are actually more sellers than buyers. It feels more like the OTC desks are absorbing most of the demand off-exchange, so the spot charts don’t see any real pressure until that liquidity starts to thin out. Once those desks run dry...
@Steph_iscrypto This is what the market looks like before a squeeze. Sentiment is flat, most are near break-even, but ETFs are still taking supply every day. Honestly, I'd rather it stay down a bit longer so they can drain more liquidity, for the long term setup rather than a quick spike.
