It was a humbling moment for me today, as the President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presented my boss H.E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and I, to the Asantehene His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as the 2024 Presidential ticket of the New Patriotic Party.

More historic, was the outdooring of the ticket at a mammoth rally at the Jubilee Park, Kumasi. In my remarks, I used the opportunity to send heartfelt plea to my brothers and sisters in the NPP who may feel disgruntled to find in their hearts to let go, as we seek to close our ranks to work even harder for victory in December

I also called on my NPP family in the Ashanti region, the pulse of the party to dedicate themselves in this campaign to ensure our electoral success. To all members of the NPP, I emphasized the collective responsibility to unite in service for the greater good of our party.

I am deeply grateful for the honour to serve as the running mate to our Presidential Candidate and I look forward to supporting him prosecute a formidable campaign to ‘break the 8’. To God be the glory!
