Post-Orientation Camp Transition - Accommodation Guidance
Dear Batch B, Stream II, 2026 Members,
I hope you are feeling enthusiastic following our engaging orientation camp activities. We are now ready to move forward into the next phase of the NYSC program.
Upon completion of the camp, you may proceed to your assigned local government area or, if applicable, relocate to a different state. As you settle into your new surroundings, it’s important to address your living arrangements.
For those who may find themselves temporarily without accommodation, assistance is at hand. Notably, both Muslim and Christian communities provide support structures.
The Muslim Community Association of Nigeria (MCAN) and various Christian fellowships, including the Nigeria Christian Corpers' Fellowship (NCCF), have established hostels/lodges in numerous local government areas and across all states.
If you require a place to stay while you make long-term arrangements, these facilities could offer a temporary refuge for one to two weeks. Don't hesitate to reach out and inquire about these accommodations.
Remember, your time with the NYSC is meant to be rewarding and enriching, not merely to be endured. Make the most of it and embrace the adventure that awaits!
Warm regards,
NYSC360
