@RiseNDraft Ryan, is this basically a money thing, or is there more to it (taking it as a given he likes A&M well enough to consider them in the first place)? And is this about advisors or the student-athlete himself? Thx
@RiseNDraft Had ND’s interest in Cooper changed following Coleman’s commitment? How do Cooper and Coleman compare as prospects in terms of positional fit and current skills/upside?
@RiseNDraft What are your observations about the way ND’s GM and his team recently have gone about retaining players and/or allowing or encouraging their departures? Thanks.
@RiseNDraft Surprised that he is not returning. Seems another year could have benefited him and ND. A bit odd he viewed it differently and decided to launch. Best wishes, obviously, but I hope this isn’t a bad sign - 2 OL captains with eligibility remaining deciding to move on….
@RiseNDraft Only so much money and playing time to go around. Hard to lose a player that seemed to be a great fit. He will likely do great things at his next stop. A frustrating casualty of the NIL era.
@Reddened64@greg2126 If they played in a 12/24 bowl, then no. If they played in a 12/31 bowl, then maybe. Or a few less. Enough to give some backups more coaching and time to develop.
@RiseNDraft If Golden is already 275, I am surprised you think he needs to gain 30 pounds to play DT (3 tech) effectively. With his skills, don’t think he can’t be effective/great at 290?
