Some storms possible today & IF they manage to get going they could be quite rowdy... but that is a big IF. Lots of uncertainty about the storm timing, placement & severity. Honestly don't think we see very many severe storms but IF we do get a couple they could pack a punch!

Very isolated storms possible today across Western KS & a few could be on the strong to severe side. While hail & wind will be a concern, lightning induced wildfires will also be possible! Highs will be cooler today with clouds and drizzle in Wichita with more sun west. #KSwx

Another conditional setup today, but a much higher chance storms will fire. Honestly it could be quite rough today near the KS/OK line. All hazards, including supercells & tornadoes, are in play. Keep a close eye on Oklahoma. Definitely a day to be Weather Aware!
