It’s just after 1pm & severe storms are already going up across North Central KAKEland. Not overly impressive so far & rather clumped together. Remember, we are most concerned about discrete/isolated supercells. It looks like the show is getting started.

Four years ago today, an EF-3 tornado devastated the town of Andover. The twister was on the ground for just under 13 miles, and three people were injured in Sedgwick and Butler counties. https://t.co/LsCBwiDZq7 #KAKEnews#KSwx
Some storms possible today & IF they manage to get going they could be quite rowdy... but that is a big IF. Lots of uncertainty about the storm timing, placement & severity. Honestly don't think we see very many severe storms but IF we do get a couple they could pack a punch!
Afternoon storms could pack a punch with large hail, high wind gusts & a few tornadoes! (Video Forecast in my Feed) High fire danger returns across Western Kansas. High temps will be in the 70s and 80s before tumbling back to jacket and coat weather by morning. #KSwx
Very isolated storms possible today across Western KS & a few could be on the strong to severe side. While hail & wind will be a concern, lightning induced wildfires will also be possible! Highs will be cooler today with clouds and drizzle in Wichita with more sun west. #KSwx
Another conditional setup today, but a much higher chance storms will fire. Honestly it could be quite rough today near the KS/OK line. All hazards, including supercells & tornadoes, are in play. Keep a close eye on Oklahoma. Definitely a day to be Weather Aware!
My young dawg Pharms is the perfect example that you can make it to the NFL from a Small College if you stay down and keep grinding until you reach your dreams 💯🏁 @pharms34
