It was either a good tear up outside or down to the kebab house. It was £2 a pint & £4 for a bab back then.

@JP_JayPea This happened to me in a bar in Crete. Had a couple of beers & wines. Awful service, waiter was tipsy. Gave him €20 expecting some coins back. Got given €95 .
Had a full seafood platter for dinner.

@steph_innit £80 peak ticket from Brighton to Islington this week. Reduced service & packed carriages for a 1h 30m commute.
I was in Greece a couple of years ago. Gyros 🥙 & Mythos 🍺€6.50. It’s £10 in Brighton just for the gyros 🥙 😢😢

@anon_opin Indian 🇮🇳 restaurants have become very tight on this. I only ever get one these days. Back in the early 00’s I was friendly with the chap that owned my local Indian restaurant. Helped him out with really tiny things a couple of times. Always had a bag for curry 🍛 & a bag of pops
