1. The most surprising thing that I learned was just how many social media websites there actually is.
2. The three most useful things that i learned in this course were how to use wiki, how to do an audit, and I learned some stuff about group work.
14.1 I think that social media will feature a lot more live aspects in the future. I can't see it changing but i believe it will definitely adapt #GNED1411
11.2 An example of somebody using crowdfunding was J.J. Watt raising money for Houston and it's residents to help rebuild the city after Hurricane Harvey and all the flooding hit Texas. #GNED1411
10.2 - I would say I fall under Citizen 2.0 based on the fact I am a new voter and am on social media. I do think a culture of openness and transparency within the government is important but feel that it’s unrealistic to happen. #GNED1411
9.3 A recent campaign that stands out to me would have to be J.J. Watt raising money for Houston. A ton of celebrities supported this campaign and it turned out huge. Over $20 million was raised. #GNED1411
9.2 An example of how businesses are using social media is how Wendy's always roasts different twitter accounts and the tweets go viral. By that tweet going viral it's putting their brand all over people's feeds. #GNED1411
9.1 My favourite brand falls under the butterflies category. They have very poor engagement with their customers and I'm sure they've lost a lot because of it. It impacts me to the point where I'm ready to move on from them. #GNED1411
7.2 It's important to be aware of your online identity because people are always watching. I feel that it's much easier to make a negative impact online and that could greatly impact your future.
