If you're lucky enough to live in a state that still believes in reproductive rights, reach out to your friends and family who live in those 19th-century states and offer a place for them or their daughters to stay, if they ever need it. This is what it's come to.
I asked DALL-E Mini for an image from the end of my life. What a peaceful setting in which to be murdered by a youthful silhouette. On the plus side, we've got a few absolutely bangin emo album covers here.
@AvocadosnOcean Then I'd be concerned that she's actually a much older lady who face-swapped with a younger lady and we'd be right back where we started.
TIL that Nicolas Cage's current wife, who is expecting his child, is 26, which means she's six years younger than the actress who portrayed his daughter in Con Air. Happy Friday.
Didn't click, but I'm guessing Pat is being replaced by a self-service kiosk. And also the wheel is now filled with soup that splashes everywhere when spun. This is how we read news now anyway, so we can all accept this as fact.
@CursedtoFirst I think Mazz will adopt a different tone for the broadcasts. I know his negativity irks people (justifiably), but I think you'll get a different guy in the booth. Better if they can have him be the third guy and bounce things off the players and DOB.
Yes, I did just realize this morning in the quiet clarity of my morning drive that the new Reacher is the same guy who played Young Scully in that Brooklyn Nine-Nine flashback episode.
Cheers to you, Peter. Your energy was a source of inspiration (and, yeah, some humor too) to a young sports reporter who had only a vague sense of what he was doing. The community will miss you more than it knows.
I don't write much about the Attleboro/Foxboro area anymore, but I realize that's why I have most of the followers that I do. I'm finally getting around to reading Mike Kirby's ode to Peter Gobis, who just retired. Here's my thoughts on Peter (thread). https://t.co/nRQRtJyRIY
C'est la vie or whatever, but it's a bummer. I don't know how many people still subscribe to the Sun Chronicle, or if it feels as vital as it did when I was there, let alone at its peak. I do know, however, that the paper and the area have truly lost something special.
