@soniasodha It is morally the absolutely right thing to do, it was the House of Lords that behaved immorally. This bill does NOT put vulnerable people at risk. I’m 77 and I want this bill to pass.
@marcuse99903226@Anthea61618490 Alas the BBC often fails to put science or lack of science first. It did it over the MMR scandal, climate change early days and the potential consequences of Brexit - the last is somewhat different but shows the BBC’s scewed ideas of “balance”.
@SusannaRustin@tjaldred Anyone who has gone through male puberty must not be allowed to compete with natal females. But don’t call the other category Male call it Open and that it welcomes people with conditions of sexual difference.
@HadleyFreeman So like can I like just say like right that like those soooo ugleee wimmin like yeah outside like the Supreme Court I mean yeah like come on yeah??
@StevenIsserlis Handel is my favourite composer. He composed across such a wide range of genres and in his operas he matched music to emotion perfectly. Handel makes me smile.
@marcuse99903226@PreetKGillMP@wesstreeting@sueevansprotect Marcus, I’m not a clinician, but it’s the safety aspect that concerns me and I think the guidance notes to parents produced by King’s for the trial underplay the potential risks.
@HJoyceGender It depresses me deeply that so much of the flexibility of how we are that was accepted without judgment in the late 60/70s has been lost as people now feel crushed into the post-WW2 stereotypes. Preferred prepositions/oi/you.
@HJoyceGender The existing evidence is clear that PBs can do permanent damage & restrict thinking. Trials on non human mammals need to be conducted 1st. The consent leaflet doesn’t emphasise the risks enough. & why is this one symptom in the psychopathology of these children given precedence?
