It was just a player manipulating statistics to get what he wanted. Not interested in two way or selfless play. He’s not Ovi.

@PassingDrill @ZWatson65536 Yeah that was the year Kyrou shifted to playing defense. It drove his offense down and he couldn’t seem to figure out how to play some semblance of defense and still drive offensive play. He should have made the defensive shift a couple of seasons sooner.

@JustinScottx89 Well the complaints about forechecking and actually skating back for D and not cherry-picking were legit. They kept coming up because he kept doing them (until last season).

@JustinScottx89 Yeah know I got the sense that DA was done with him. That was the reason he was traded.

@JustinScottx89 His defensive game did improve, but that seemed to make his offense tank. I’d say he swung too far to defense last season. He basically just needed to get back sooner and forecheck more.
