When we exchange the true lessons and emphasis of the Biblical authors for interpretations that are “not bad”, we have to really consider what we are losing.
Me:
I'll stay off frontend development for a good while and just enjoy my backend deep dive.
Also, me:
Enrolled in an applied AI course that involves using Next.js to build and thoroughly enjoying it.

Totally agree.
Got promoted to senior recently and this captures the highlights of the appraisal.
You actually have to lead, irrespective of whatever else you're rolling out. 👍
In helping people become biblical, I have seen clearly that the biggest obstacle is fear. There’s just this expectation that God will no longer be active in their lives; no more answered prayers, miracles, e.t.c. This reveals a number of things:
- Legalism has eaten too deep into the fabric of our Christianity. We believe God saves, but we do everything after. What makes you think miracles come because of your style/duration of praying and not because God is gracious and good to all? Why hang your faith in methods and not in God who ordains the means and the end?
- We are proud. We only want to boast to everyone how many hours we’ve prayed, how much “power” we have obtained, how strong our faith is, and how our listeners are beneath us in spiritual things. If we’re keeping it real, we’ll see that we’re actually deists in principle.
- We are idol worshippers. We really only care about the gifts and not the giver. We don’t really care about serving God accurately. We will actually serve anything that will give us miracles and take away our discomfort. We are only too scared to serve the idols from our villages so we create one from Christian foundations.
Brethren, return to God. Love Him, and seek to serve Him accurately. Don’t fashion a god in your image.
There’s no return to God outside a return to the scriptures. Let us be truly satisfied with the God of the Bible. Serve Him with your heart, soul and mind.
God help us.

Every single time I read the Prophets, I’m left with a very heavy burden. Those guys carried divine counsel for decades on decades. Cried, pleaded, prayed e.t.c but were largely ignored. Yet they carried their hope in their hearts till they went to be with the Lord.
We carry the same hope, groaning with creation till God comes to finally judge evil and make everything new.
“Maranatha!” is the burden they carried. It’s the one we are to carry too.
Someone said if akatsuki jumps hashirama, one wood clone would be enough.
Another said Hidan would start praying to Hashirama as against his yeye Lord Jashin. 😂😂

*every* JS/TS function that takes more than one argument should take an object instead
Better IDE support, code completion and you’ll never screw up the order of arguments
