@MosabHasanYOSEF I would try to understand his thinking and connect with him. He is likely the victim of a colonialist ideology, and through patience and understanding, I would let him know that his way of addressing past injustices is as valid as any "non violent" approach.
Over the decades, Israel and the international community have repeatedly offered the Palestinian leadership a state, and yet, each offer has been rejected by Palestinian leadership.

@BriannaWu I can't believe @bungarsargon is going along with this. I have a lot of respect for her, despite having very different views than her about Trump, but this is kind of a deal breaker.
@AUsefuIldiot@BriannaWu I think in order to protect its own existence, Israel gathers a great deal of information on Islamist terrorist organizations. It shares that information with its allies. It's really not that hard to understand.
@BreslauerEdith@anaraintuitive@EllaTravelsLove How do you make peace with a people who have no interest in peace? The Palestinian movement has shown that they will reject statehood when disconnected from a plan to destroy Israel. A naive belief that the Palestinians want peaceful coexistence did not protect anyone on 10/7.
I keep repeating myself time and time again, but it is crucial to the basic understanding of the conflict.
Most, though not all, pro-Palestinians, including many Palestinians themselves, are more anti-Israel than they are pro-Palestine, and thatโs the *real* tragedy of the conflict.
There is no positive, constructive vision for the future.
Until that changes, no peace will be possible.
@HikazePrincess@D_RejectedStone This honestly strikes you as a valid point? Freedom of religion doesn't mean you have to pick one, it's the freedom to choose any or none.
@Timcast@TuckerCarlson So Carlson can say whatever he wants because free speech. But people can't criticize Carlson because that isn't free speech. Is that right? Side note: does Carlson ever criticize anyone else's positions, and is that allowed under this rubric?
@IhabHassane Have the Palestinians ever proposed a workable peace plan? Ever? FYI, including the "right of return" in a plan makes it unworkable. No country on earth would agree to destroy itself, so demanding the "right of return" is just rejectionism pretending to be something else.
