🚫 CLAIM: Over the past 48 hours, multiple media outlets have reported several false claims related to USS Abraham Lincoln's (CVN 72) deployment to the Middle East. One report alleged seven Sailors died in a brawl aboard the aircraft carrier and others have recently suggested a spike in suicidal ideations. These reports are FALSE.
✅ FACT: USS Abraham Lincoln has maintained among the highest crew reenlistment rates (84.4%) of all aircraft carriers in the U.S. Navy. The Sailors and Marines of the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group remain resilient and resolved after more than 260 days at sea, 10,000 aircraft flights, and 1.5 million pounds of ordnance expended. No service members aboard the aircraft carrier have died, and the one Sailor who fell overboard Aug. 3 was quickly and safely recovered. The rampant misreporting on Abraham Lincoln's historic deployment is a disservice to our men and women in uniform and their loved ones.

Russian economist: “The bill is due in days” – only 20% of gasoline production left, crisis could stop the war (source: Vyacheslav Siryayev)
Vyacheslav Siryaev puts it bluntly: Russia’s fuel crisis is now measured in days.
According to him, only about 20% of Russia’s previous gasoline production remains.
That’s not a shortage — it’s a structural breakdown. And when a war machine built entirely on diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel loses four‑fifths of its supply, the outcome is inevitable.
Siryaev’s conclusion is stark:
The fuel crisis will stop the war.
Without fuel:
no transport
no artillery convoys
no troop rotations
no drone operations
no air missions
no mobilization of reserves
It’s the same patttern seen in late‑Soviet collapse: the economy fails first, the military follows.
Russia is already shutting down refineries, rationing fuel, and facing kilometer‑long lines at stations. This isn’t propaganda.
It’s physics. A war cannot continue when the fuel runs out.

BREAKING: Iran has reportedly struck a hotel in Erbil, northern Iraq, housing U.S. military personnel with missiles and drones — marking the first military operation of the newly restructured IRGC, according to initial reports.

Ukraine says its long-range strike campaign is entering a new phase.
In a memorandum reportedly shared with the Trump administration, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry says the SBU has carried out more than 100 successful strikes on strategic targets inside Russia over the past 40 days.
The campaign has increasingly focused on Russia’s energy sector, with all 10 of the country’s largest oil refineries reportedly targeted. According to the document, more than 30% of Russian refining capacity has been taken offline, with the damage estimated at around $15 billion.
But Ukraine is also warning Washington about a growing problem on the defensive side: a critical shortage of PAC-2 and PAC-3 interceptors for Patriot systems, making it increasingly difficult to counter Russian ballistic missile attacks.
The memo also comes amid U.S. warnings that Russia could mobilize as many as 500,000 additional troops after the September State Duma elections.
Yesterday's massive Ukrainian attack on the ports of Russia's Novorossiysk, as well as the destruction of 90% of their country's grain exports, burning of 4 ships of their Black Sea Fleet and the ongoing blockade of both the Azov Sea and Black Sea seems to have alerted Russians to the fact that war was much more fun when it was all about the risk-free genocide of a peaceful neighboring nation.

NEW: There are additional indicators that the Iraqi federal government is considering using force to disarm Iranian-backed Iraqi militias if they fail to disarm by September 30. Iraqi sources told Saudi media on August 12 that the Iraqi federal government has a plan to deploy the Iraqi Army, Counter Terrorism Service, and other “elite” units around Iraqi militia operation centers to restrict the militias’ freedom of movement and supplies after the September 30 disarmament deadline.
Other Key Takeaways:
Iran and some Shia Coordination Framework members are concerned about Zaydi’s preparations to use force against the militias in order to directly disarm them or compel them to disarm. An Iraqi security source told Iraqi media on August 13 that the Iraqi federal government and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) are engaging in intensive talks about the disarmament process.
Iranian Armed Forces General Staff (AFGS)-affiliated media interpreted Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei’s appointment decree of Basij Commander Hossein Taeb as an indicator that the regime plans to strengthen its ability to monitor and repress the Iranian population. Mojtaba appointed Taeb as Basij commander on August 10 and tasked Taeb with making “every Iranian a Basiji,” using the people to “confront enemy threats,” and protecting the Islamic Revolution.
The Houthis deployed fiber-optic first-person view (FPV) drones to attack the Republic of Yemen Government (ROYG) forces in Yemen for the first time on August 11. Two Yemen analysts published footage on August 12 that showed a Houthi fiber-optic FPV drone that ROYG forces captured in Marib Governorate on August 11.

⚡️❗️BREAKING: Robert Shageev, a former Ukrainian submarine commander who betrayed Ukraine and defected to Russia in 2014, and later took part in Russian submarine missile strikes against Ukraine, was killed in an explosion in occupied Sevastopol.
After his defection, Shageev rose to the rank of Captain 1st Rank and commanded a Project 636 submarine crew of Russia’s 4th Submarine Brigade at the Novorossiysk Naval Base.
In that role, he was responsible for cruise missile launches against Ukrainian cities, energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.
According to preliminary information, the explosive device was planted inside a trash bin next to a bench on Stoletovsky Prospekt. Shageev died at the scene.
