“If I was Governor I would have vetoed the Riley Gaines Act”
Georgia Democrat running for Governor, Keisha Lance Bottoms, wants boys to compete with the girls.
GA, VOTE like your daughter's future depends on it. Because it does
“Why Did Thomas Massie Lose?”
Because Thomas Massie changed, the GOP didn’t. As @seandavis pointed out, Thomas Massie went toe-to-toe against Trump on COVID in 2020 and won 81-19…
Then he turned into an obstructionist obsessed with Epstein—an issue he didn’t care about at all under Biden—and GOP voters recognized it.
He became more concerned with clicks and clout than securing the border. He started running across the aisle to vote, thinking buddying up with terrorist support Ro Khanna was something his constituents wanted to see.
His actions and rhetoric (including accusing his detractors of getting paid “$7,000” for posts) had no discernible difference between that and the Israel obsessed, anti-American, anti-agency Groyper Smurf Army.
Look at the list of his endorsers as pointed out by people like @MaxNordau, @GBNT1952, and @nick_matau, and tell me, does this look like a guy who was running for a GOP primary or a Democrat primary in Dearborn, Michigan?

Why did Thomas Massie lose? Because he thought online votes counted in Kentucky.
For a guy who is hailed as living off the grid, the only thing he seemed to care about during this campaign was the grid, was the algorithm.
The algorithm didn’t speak last night. Real
Kentuckians did. And they said, “No Mas(sie)!”
South Carolina has had a Black Secretary of State, a Black State Treasurer, two Black Lieutenant Governors, a Black Attorney General, and one of their U.S. Senators is Black.
ALL Republicans, by the way.
I remember when people were too embarrassed to display their ignorance.
In 1913, Union and Confederate veterans returned to Gettysburg for the 50th anniversary of the battle. Men who had shot at each other across that stone wall, who lost brothers, limbs, and friends, crossed the field and shook hands.
They chose to be Americans again.
113 years later, Gavin Newsom calls Texas, Florida, and Georgia “Confederate states” because he lost a redistricting fight.
Veterans who actually bled in that war found a way to come home as one country. Newsom can’t lose a political argument without dragging the ghosts of it back out to score points on Twitter.
That’s the difference between men who built this country and the politicians currently running it into the ground.
