In the news, a resident mentioned that they hear explosions from inside Lake Bugoria.
Scientists say that the two lakes are already connected underneath the surface. And the lakes have grown by 11-117 km2.
Lake Bugoria is left with 0.7 meters before it spills into Lake Baringo.
