@XboxP3 Hi Phil, could you inform me how a publisher on the Live service can over rule a decision made by #Xbox support team? It raises a lot of concerns about costumer rights and protection offered on the Live service especially as I have 3 children who engage on the platform.
@YongYea I'm having an issue with #PearlAbyss/#BlackDesertOnline on the #Xbox platform. They've generated revenue through false/misinformation on the Live services. This has raised concerns about consumer rights that #Xbox offers and can be enforce. Interested in the story?

This is what happens when Dave’s allowed to dream… is full of chocolate, bored and in arms reach of stationary… Come on Kinder, Square Enix and genetic engineers of the world – Make it happen!!!
PS: My apologies to Koichi Ishii, for my crude depiction of a Chocobo.
@LaymenGaming I have my opinion but I’d appreciate it if someone could thumb that query into the “safe space” of the GDC and let me know the general consensus.
@LaymenGaming Would it sound absurd to an employer if employees expected a salary as well as an additional fee per work produced? Would it sound absurd to a gamer if a studio/publisher expected a retail and F2P monetisation model of the same game?...
@ESRBRatings “To most parents money is money” – ESRB. So instead of catering to a larger audience of parents who prioritize the development of their children and are concerned about how predatory game mechanics such as Loot Boxes may impact them, you’re focusing on the money?
@ESRBRatings Also is there a reason why “Loot Boxes” didn't feature in the video when highlighting “In-Game Purchases Like; New Levels, Character Skins, Item Packs”? Do you (ESRB) think that it would perhaps have tarnished the promotion of your newly launched website?
@ESRBRatings It’s a shame that ESRB are smoke screening issues by lumping genuine additional content with predatory gambling mechanics (loot boxes). As a father who already employs restrictions offered by console manufacturers, this “solution” is not good enough.
@ESRBRatings “VIDEO GAMES ARE JUST FUN” – ESRB. It seems that the ESRB are a few years out of touch. Games were once “JUST FUN”; you got what you paid for. Now developers & publishers are combining retail and free-to-play monetisation models to generate as much money as possible.
