“Planned Parenthood makes a fortune off of harming children — killing the unborn in abortions and pushing deeply problematic cross-sex hormones at the ones they don’t manage to kill in the womb. The latest reports indicate that Planned Parenthood President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson receives an annual salary of nearly a million dollars. This organization should never receive another cent of taxpayer funding — they never should have in the first place.”

Delegates at the 2026 Republican Party of Texas Convention voted to include language among the top eight legislative priorities that will open the door to criminal penalties for women who obtain abortions, including the possibility of life in prison or even the death penalty.
Texas Alliance for Life is deeply disappointed by this outcome.
Our position has not changed. We oppose the criminalization of women. We believe Texas law should hold illegal abortion providers and traffickers accountable, not punish the vulnerable women they exploit. A woman facing fear, coercion, confusion, or desperation needs compassion, truth, and practical help and direction, not the threat of prison.
For nearly four decades, Texas Alliance for Life has worked to advance a pro-life strategy that is principled, compassionate, and effective. That work has helped pass nearly 60 pro-life laws, ending elective abortion in Texas, and securing hundreds of millions of dollars for pregnancy centers, maternity homes, adoption agencies, and life-affirming alternatives.
That is the path that has saved lives. That is the path we will continue to defend.
The 90th Legislative Session will be a critical moment for the pro-life movement in Texas. We will work to ensure that Texas remains firmly committed to protecting unborn children while also protecting women from prosecution and connecting them with the care and support they need.
This fight is not over. Texas babies and women deserve better, and Texas Alliance for Life will continue working to make sure they get it.

Delegates and Alternates at the 2026 GOP Convention, Help us Protect a Compassionate, Proven Pro-Life Platform.
What’s at Stake: The 2026 Republican Party of Texas State Convention is fast approaching, and a proven, compassionate pro-life platform is under attack, not from the left but from within.
A small vocal group has pushed “Equal Protection” language into the RPT platform. While it may sound pro-life, it is not. In practice, this language would subject vulnerable women to life in prison or even the death penalty. Some proponents have openly stated that if that is where the law leads, “so be it.”
This is not the compassionate, results-driven pro-life approach that has successfully protected life in Texas. Texas women and babies deserve better.
Vote pro-life in the Primary Runoff Election. Early Voting runs May 18–22, and Election Day is May 26. Make your voice heard at the polls.

Throughout his service in the U.S. Senate, Senator @JohnCornyn has consistently demonstrated leadership in promoting the protection of unborn children, promoting maternal health, expanding access to life-affirming resources for women and families, and defunding Planned Parenthood. A vote for Cornyn is a solid vote for life!
Texas Alliance for Life FED PAC stands behind our endorsement of Senator John Cornyn for re-election to the U.S. Senate. Senator Cornyn has been a strong and consistent voice for protecting innocent human life, defending women and their unborn children, and advancing pro-life policies. We look forward to continuing to work alongside leaders who stand for life in Texas and across our nation. https://t.co/FeIHJJeGld
Proud to stand w/ US Sen. @JohnCornyn as we kicked off early voting yesterday. He has been a tremendous advocate & partner for Bexar County & JBSA. Much of that work goes unseen but we would be in a terrible spot without Sen John Cornyn.
This election is about leadership! Vote!

Senator John Cornyn has been a solid, dependable, and trustworthy advocate for life. His voting record proves it. This is why Texas Alliance for Life FED PAC is proud to endorse him for re-election. Share if you appreciate pro-life leaders with real conviction!
@TXAlliance4Life Back to the very earliest prolife efforts he was present and supportive. We have a conservative U S Supreme Court because of his actions on the Judicial Committee and a reversal of Roe.
If the reports are true, the next FDA Commissioner must be someone who takes seriously the very real harms of mail-order abortion drugs and the safety data gaps the agency has refused to confront. The Fifth Circuit held that the FDA’s own review process was marred by procedural deficits and a lack of adequate consideration.
