@JamesRPGArt Another similar solution that I can recommend is Perilious Wilds for Dungeon World. Most of it is system agnostic and has a great chapter on delving, with a strong narrative focus as with all PbtA systems.

I think "Creative freedom from publisher" can't be a definition, since then any non-owned-by-publisher AAA studio would technically be indie.

@ShannaGermain I greatly recommend the Divinity Original Sin series, Pillars of Eternity series. I think the Shadow of War and Shadow of Mordor games too are great if you didn't try them.

@VincentHubau Well, the Animus complicates things quite a bit. I'm a bit torn on this. No-accent would work too, but a Greek accent would maybe help with feeling in ancient Greece? I think here there is no right answer, it depends on personal preference.
