I wanted to create something handmade for @ppuffins, so I picked up my yarn and started crocheting 🧶🐧
And somehow… a little Puffin came to life.
My sanity was on the line with this one 😂
This one was too cute not to try.
I hope I did it a bit of justice 🥹
Do you know a woman will rather her husband remain poor and stay with her alone that become rich and marry another woman?
Why are women so wicked to themselves?🤦
I'm sharing this anonymously because I still work there, and I don't want my manager or anyone else at the company to recognize me.
During my first year, I became the person my manager depended on whenever something went wrong or needed to be fixed quickly. If a report contained incorrect numbers, I was the one who caught the mistake and corrected it before it caused problems. If a client was accidentally sent the wrong file, I tracked down the correct version, resent it, and handled the awkward follow-up. When someone entered a deadline incorrectly, I noticed it and fixed the schedule before anyone else realized there was an issue.
At first, I honestly didn't mind helping. I liked being dependable, and it felt good to know that I could keep things moving when other people made mistakes. But after a while, I started noticing a pattern, and that was when the situation began to bother me.
My manager was presenting all of my work as if it were his own. He took credit for catching the errors, fixing the client issues, and preventing missed deadlines. I was quietly doing the cleanup behind the scenes, while he received the recognition for everything.....
