@MaxReboPianoMan That's the funny thing about the internet. Perhaps you missed the news, the latest controversy, the latest death (RIP Regis Philbin), the really funny meme, a good interaction with a twitter acquaintance, but you missed absolutely nothing important to your personal life.
Max Park regains the 7x7 world record single with a time of 1:32.07! Max held and continued to break the record for over 7 years before losing it to Lim Hung this month. 2 weeks later Max reclaimed his record!

@ToppsSWCT One of the worst problems with the new app is the implementation of the workbench. When I look to salvage Tier 6 Force cards, I can no longer see at once the fraction of cards I have at hand and the exact number of each I am committing. I miss the fractions, so easy to track.
Ziyu Wu has done it again! A week after setting the world record average in megaminx, he has broken his own record with a time of 24.76 seconds. Congratulations on breaking the sub 25 second barrier, Ziyu!

Speaking of job-hunting, my daughter is looking for an internship with a veterinarian to meet requirements for one of her high school classes. Most of you who follow me live in the area, so if you have a connection, let me know. Like me, she's applied to many but not heard back.
Job-hunting is like shouting in space. I never hear anything. I've applied for some excellent positions that I am truly perfectly suited to do, but I never even know whether I got an honest look. Still, I remain hopeful that fate will put me on the right path.
@ToppsSWCT@Comic_Con I would rather...
1. Race a pod-racer -- The intensity of the speed would be exhilarating.
2. Visit Tatooine -- I've seen enough snow in my life, and Tatooine has civilized spaceports, however wretched
3. Be skilled with the Force -- The Force binds us all.

@PluckhahnJ And one more thought on best practices with MagicSchool: Differentiating lessons is really easy, whether you're adapting to challenge students or enable students. You know that I have had non-readers in the classroom, for example, and I liked the adaptations suggested by the AI.
I've been attending online webinars and doing online learning -- that's my passion for my own growth and education. I just completed Magic School's AI Certification Level 1. I'm excited to see where this might take me.
@PluckhahnJ One thing I especially liked about MagicSchool was that, when I asked for lessons on specific topics, the suggested lessons were relevant, clearly engaging, and importantly TEKS-based-- not shoe-horned to match the TEKS but truly aligned to the state's expectations.
@PluckhahnJ https://t.co/bmPGFfL750 is a pretty powerful and varied platform that, among other things, can significantly refresh curriculum and instruction. I also found that it is genuinely good at identifying effective strategies to help troubled students.
I completed MagicSchool's Image Generator certification. With the integration of Adobe Express, this is a more effective image tool than I've used before. I hope to explore it more.
I completed MagicSchool AI Certification Level 3. Now I can speak abbreviation, for example: The MagicSchool AI LLM uses RAG and is refined by RLHF, and of course it complies with FERPA and COPPA.
@ToppsSWCT Luke meets the dianoga A. on the Death Star, specifically in the trash compactor. I had the green toy dianoga that came with the Kenner Death Star. I am DarthDavidius in SWCT.
I updated my profile banner image. I'm looking for a new career now -- a happy new chapter. My banner image still has hints of me as an teacher, but there are no more district or campus logos. I'm terribly uncertain about what job I'll find next, but I'm simultaneously excited.
