In 1986, Mark Gastineau was one of the hottest names in the NFL. Sylvia and I had just finished covering the New York Jets at the Falcons, and Gastineau was the last one on the field. He put his arm around her and gave her a big, sweaty kiss! Sylvia had never seen the clip.

@thesoggyblanket Right! Summers in Phoenix and no one is outside! My favorite was when it was over 100 they would ask for a hot weather feature photo, then a couple months later when it dropped to 99 they would ask for a cold weather photo!

Grand Canyon is headed back to the NCAA Tournament, as both the Men's and Women's teams advanced to March Madness. WBB has 30 straight wins and counting. Blessed to work at such a great place ! FYI: Photo credit for the first image goes to my trusty assistant Sylvia Kadlubowski

Saddened to hear of the passing of Gene Hackman. Sylvia and I were honored to work alongside him, Willem Dafoe, Frances McDormand, & R. Lee Erney in the film Mississippi Burning. I remember him as humble. We have some great stories about our short time with him. RIP Gene!
