Most people dump all their stocks in 1 demat account & wonder why they're paying so much tax.
Here's a simple strategy that can save you thousands every year (a thread) ๐งต
I, David Mark, visited SBI Pratapgarh (SBIN0000157), Kutchery Road, Pratapgarh, UP-230001. I was denied a PM Mudra Loan and faced rude behavior. @sinuchalla@TheOfficialSBI@SBIChairman, @OfficialSBICare please look into this matter and take appropriate action. #SBI#COMPLAINT
A 50% US ๐บ๐ธ tariff on India ๐ฎ๐ณ is real, but India is no stranger to hardship.
With a vibrant domestic market, low inflation, strong FDI inflows, $700bn reserves, a diversified diplomatic portfolio, passionate nationalism & 200M+ farmers, India will try to endure for some time.
10 simple rules of investing:-
1) Invest in US markets for long-term
2) "Trade" in Indian markets and rotate capital (only when it is at value)
3) Buy land/villa over flats
4) Do not chase running assets
5) When markets go all time high, sell 20-30% of stock
6) Take leverage and invest when markets go 30% from top (if you have a great credit history; not recommended for newbies/beginners)
7) Do not do blind SIPs
8) Save your money in USD (as much as possible) or a stable currency (how to do it? will cover on a different post)
9) If you own multiple real estate: cash flow it using a company structure to save taxes
10) Once you hit 10Cr+ change your tax residency. Enjoy better quality life.
The taxes you save >> cost of living in that country, so its worth it.
Stay away from political people. And, understand the governance is a service, not bhakti.
Grow your wealth, save taxes, help people. You can do a better job directly.
On this 79th Independence Day, we honor the sacrifices of our heroes and commit ourselves to building a stronger, self-reliant India.
At David Group, we pledge to innovate, empower, and grow with our nation.
