Parking lot at the trailhead at Guadalupe Mountains National Park. A great thing about travel this time of year is the lack of people. We only saw one person during our 8 mile hike. Wonderful to have the canyon to ourselves

Yesterday was my official termination from T-MOBILE due to layoff. Here I am in 1992 working as a call center employee. Later, I joined Sprint as one of the first retail employees in the US. I was the last of that group. 30+ years is a long time to give to an industry

You only get one life. Mine was almost cut short by cancer 25 years ago. It forced me to think and live differently. Live by your own set of rules and you will be ready for whatever may come your way.
