@Lenslinger When I worked at KAKE, Larry Hatteberg (truly a legend among News cameramen) heard about a fire over the police scanner, dashed off to cover it only to find he’d left his CP16 at the station. Oh what fun we had teasing him.
OK I think I have completed this initial research for this new crime documentary project working title "it happened in Wichita".. A lot more research to do but I think I locked how I want to tell the story and the rhythm. List of names to pursue. Gotta figure out the team..
