The disgraced former mayor of New York, Rudy (I was just tucking in my shirt) Giuliani, has threatened to sue me for defamation over an interview in which I never said his name. No one even mentioned him.
I want to apologize to Rudy. Going forward I will be certain to say his name directly.
Rudy, you worked with known Russian agents and their proxies to spread lies about me and my father. Their names are Andrii Derkach, Konstantin Kulyk, Andriy Telizhenko and Oleksandr Dubinsky and more. Kulyk handed you a dossier filled with disinformation. You flew to Kyiv in December 2019 to sit down with Derkach, then went on television with him to sell his bullshit tapes.
Trump’s own national security adviser warned the White House that what you brought back was Russian disinformation. You kept going.
Then Trump’s own Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, sanctioned Derkach in September 2020 as an active Russian agent for over a decade, for spreading the same lies you are still spitting. Four months later, on his way out the door, Mnuchin sanctioned the rest of your sources. Kulyk. Telizhenko. Dubinsky. Eleven people and four media front companies in all. Not sanctioned by me. Not by my father. By Donald Trump’s Treasury Department.
And remember Vienna Rudy. In October 2019 you, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman had tickets to fly there to collect a hard drive, courtesy of Dmytro Firtash, an indicted oligarch who has spent a decade in Vienna fighting extradition to the United States. Lev and Igor were arrested at Dulles holding one-way tickets. You canceled yours the next morning. That was way before a computer repairman in Wilmington was ever a twinkle in your eye.
So please, @RudyGiuliani. Please, please sue me. Discovery will be a joy for everyone.

That’s the type of fight we want from our young players! Love the mentality.
@legen_eth In the digital age they should have to disclose these trades same day. If it’s a national security risk…. sorry they shouldn’t be able to trade on that information.
@KobeissiLetter Does anybody have the official count on how many times we’ve won the war? How many times Iran wants to make a deal? How many times we will send them to the dark ages?
@USMNTCORNER I’ll be the first to admit he deserved it. I didn’t see it at first but he brought energy and fight that we desperately needed. Hes the only one who played with heart that game.
@thecyrusjanssen Thank you for letting us know who you are rooting for. I was holding my breath waiting to find out. A bunch of hard working Americans who have nothing to do with politics are playing and I think I can get behind that. That’s just me though🤣
@_ac_slat3r@ClevelandCam He only personally sat down with the president of FIFA who obviously asked him to visit the White House in exchange for that. The only reason this wasn’t swept under the rug was because of the freedom of information act. You would be naive to think other countries don’t do this.
The UEFA and Belgian hyperbole here is insane.
I am not defending FIFA. The process should be more transparent, especially if outside political pressure was involved.
But the idea that U.S. Soccer or the USMNT violated fair play by advocating for Balogun after a controversial call is absurd.
Every federation protects its players when it thinks a decision is wrong. Belgium is literally doing that right now.
The issue is not that the U.S. asked.
The issue is whether FIFA has a consistent and transparent process.
If FIFA has a rule that lets them suspend the enforcement of a punishment, then explain why it applies here and why it will apply the same way next time.
That is a fair criticism.
But the pearl clutching that only starts when a non European country benefits from the gray area is hard to take seriously.
Duplicitous whiners.
“Yeah if you don’t fucking repeal Balogun’s suspension right now I’m gonna tell Big Yahu we suspect that you’re developing a nuclear weapon at the FIFA offices. Are we fucking clear?”
🚨 Folarin Balogun is eligible to play against Belgium.
FIFA sources had insisted US Soccer had no appeal. Sources say US Soccer did not attempt one as a result.
And Balogun had spoken on Monday here in Seattle about missing the game telling us, “I have to accept it…”
Yet FIFA have decided to hand Balogun a suspended one-game ban, which is in their powers as per Article 27. The red card stands but Balogun is free to play.
Cristiano Ronaldo also given a suspended ban before the tournament allowing him to play Portugal’s opening World Cup games.
BIG NEWS 🇺🇸🚨 According to a source, Folarin Balogun will be able to play tomorrow.
Balo has been sanctioned with a 1 match suspension but enforcement of that sanction is in probation period of 1 year. In other words, he is free to play in R16 v Belgium.
