To say Ian Platteeuw’s debut was impressive would be an understatement.

In 19 minutes, the freshman big showed a bit of everything. His growth could meaningfully raise Davidson’s ceiling. It’s a lot for 18-year-old shoulders — but a 7-foot frame helps.

Army transfer and All-Patriot League Second Team selection Josh Scovens has committed to Davidson.

The 6’6” sophomore forward started 28/29 games played, averaging 15.2 points on 45% shooting, 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steal per game.

Back to back commits for the Wildcats today, will be joining Penn transfer Sam Brown.
