We are GreaterThan Group (GTG), a new model of game company founded by industry veteran Simon Zhu. Our vision is: Unleash the potential.
The industry has become increasingly complex, often at the expense of the creative process. GTG is stripping away the distractions to provide elite creators with full funding, end-to-end support, creative autonomy, and a stake in the legacy they build. We are ensuring that the world’s best talent stays focused on making their dream projects.
We are proud to launch GTG in partnership with proven industry leaders:
●@CaseyDHudson and @ArcanautStudios developers of Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic
●@DavidVonderhaar and @BulletFarmGames working on a new project
●Masato Sakai and his anime company MAGship
The games industry is changing and we’re building a future for the next generation of legendary game experiences.

BulletFarm lives. Same name. Same DNA. Same commitment to the player experience.
But now, a new game. One backed by the full commitment and support of our new and sole partners at @GreaterThanGRP
GreaterThan Group’s core value of empowering development studios enables us to focus entirely on building a world-class team: one empowered to create experiences that leave a legacy for players around the world.
We’re in the early stages of creating a completely new first-person multiplayer/co-operative experience under the GTG banner, with high-intensity action, systemic gameplay, and cinematic immersion at its core.
We’re excited to bring you along on our development journey, and we’ll share updates as soon as they’re ready.
If you're a Gameplay Programmer with expertise in Unreal Engine and a passion for creating more compelling combat experiences than the usual bullet-sponge bosses, I hope you will consider us.

Huge congrats to the team at @Treyarch on the reveal of BO6. I am really excited to do something I've never had the chance to do—experience it purely as a player and fan of the studio.
@ChadRobanske Yes. My best guess is about 9 months to a year. Our mission is to grow AAA developers. We feel it's important to put together a team of senior+ leaders before we bring on many jr to mid roles so you can get the mentoring and coaching to help you be successful in your career.
We are here on X at @BulletFarmGames! If you are so inclined to follow along on our journey, we will be introducing the mission, values, and core team members there over the next two days.
We've started a new game studio, called BulletFarm! https://t.co/fDr0oxV8oV
Many thanks to those who took the time to put the pieces together over these past 3 days.
I would not be the man I am today without Scott and Zach (and Mark L. and Dan K.) We never did get to Westwood Online level parity, as were our hopes and dreams. We outlived it thanks to the vision of Steve P. and DW circa 96/97. Nobody gave a shit about online games except the 3 of us. We were right. That's satisfying.
@BoomboxCartel The mistake would have been not trying to do the impossible.
Artists only fail if they believe the efforts to do the impossible failed. Success is trying. So many don't try.
You failed if you didn't try, not because you did and it didn't work out. Also. Fuck that guy.
@BoomboxCartel I don't have to imagine. I had an unreleased track from Boombox and many other tracks of our collective friends ready to go. Then, the business / legal people got involved and made it impossible. It must hurt even more when it's coming from one of our own.
