Do you know if you have been seeking validation, attention, you might be struggling with the spirit of Jezebel and most of us don't know ..you think you are just being insecure and probably yes it can be trauma, and if it's this then pay attention..
There is a truth many people are not ready to confront.
Do you know that if you are constantly seeking attention and validation—especially from men or from people—you might not just be dealing with a habit… but a spirit?
The Bible speaks about the spirit of Jezebel, and when you study her pattern, you will realize it is not just about immorality—it is about control, validation, dominance, and an unhealthy need to be seen, heard, and affirmed.
This is why you must not take this lightly.
Why do you feel the need to post everything about your life on social media?
Every progress. Every moment. Every move.
Pause and ask yourself—what is driving you?
Is it gratitude… or is it a need for people to see you, clap for you, and validate you?
Because there is a difference.
When you see a nice comment, what does it do to you?
Does it lift your whole mood? Does it make you feel complete?
And when you see a negative comment—how do you react?
Do you get angry, defensive, or feel attacked?
That is a sign.
Because the spirit of Jezebel does not accept correction. It does not tolerate opposing opinions. It wants control over how it is perceived, and it feeds on attention and validation.
It must always be right.
It must always be affirmed.
It must always be seen.
If you find that you cannot handle correction, if every differing opinion feels like an attack—check yourself.
This is deeper than personality.
You have to deal with that thing of seeking attention and validation as early as now—before it destroys you.
Because once your identity is built on people’s opinions, you are no longer stable.
Today they praise you—you are happy.
Tomorrow they criticize you—you are broken.
That is bondage.
And the truth is, many wounded and traumatized people are struggling with this—but we are not ready to have this conversation.
Some of you think you just “love being around women.”
But the truth is—you never received motherly love. Now you are trying to fill that void through constant attention, empathy, and emotional validation.
Some of you think you just “love being around men.”
But deep down—you lacked fatherly affirmation. Now you seek approval, validation, and identity through men.
And instead of dealing with the root… you normalize the pattern.
But hear me—unhealed wounds can open doors to wrong influences.
You must know this early and deal with it.
Ask yourself hard questions:
Why do I have to post every progress I make?
Why do I keep checking who has viewed my post?
Why do comments control my emotions?
Why do I smile when I’m praised but get angry when corrected?
Be honest with yourself.
Because not everything is harmless. Some patterns are spiritual, and if left unchecked, they will shape your character, your decisions, and your destiny.
Real growth begins when you stop seeking validation from people and start building your identity on truth.
Until then, you will keep chasing attention… and calling it normal.

This is how things change.
I’ve questioned God about a lot of things over the past few months. But the most rebellious moment was about sex.
One afternoon, reading 1 Thessalonians 4, “Avoid sexual immorality; learn to control your own body in holiness and honor”… It was the last straw for me and I finally admitted something I’d never dared say: this feels intrusive. Why does God care THIS much? It felt like holy micromanagement. Like God couldn’t let humans just… be human.
But as usual, I sat with it, and things became clearer. If you follow Scripture, and biology, God’s concern for the body isn’t intrusion. It’s design and mercy.
Here’s what I mean.
We often picture God as a moral hall monitor peeking into bedrooms. But what if that’s the wrong picture entirely? What if He isn’t an intruder… but the INVENTOR?
If God created us, then He created sex. He engineered hormones, wired pleasure, shaped bodies to experience intimacy, and anchored reproduction to delight. He didn’t have to. He could have made humans reproduce like trees or insects, functional, emotionless, detached. But He didn’t. He wove joy into the very act that creates life. That alone is theological insight: pleasure isn’t a glitch in the system. It’s a deliberate feature in the blueprint of Eden.
So God’s involvement in sex isn’t nosiness. It’s responsibility.
Not all creators carry the same burden of care. If you design aircraft or medicine, you owe the world warnings, guardrails, recalls. The more powerful the invention, the more we expect the inventor to stay involved. That level of power requires stewardship. Sex lives in that category.
Sex is one of the most potent forces in human existence. It creates children, bonds souls, rewires memory, shapes societies. When something can alter destinies like that, indifference is not kindness. Indifference is cruelty.
So if a loving God engineered something that powerful, of course He’d define its context. Of course He’d tell us where it flourishes and where it destroys. In my opinion, that is not control, that is care.
And if anyone thinks that sounds dramatic, please look around.
Sex carries what economists call “externalities”, costs society pays when individuals use powerful things carelessly. Father absence when sex is detached from commitment. The objectification industry feeding exploitation. Women carrying the long-term cost of men’s short-term appetites. Children inheriting instability. Society pretending fracture is freedom.
Consent matters deeply, but consent is the floor, not the ceiling. Consent answers, “Is this allowed?” COVENANT answers, “Who bears the cost? Who carries the consequence? Who protects the vulnerable?”
Covenant is the technology God gave us to internalize the externalities of sex, to bind love to responsibility, desire to devotion, pleasure to permanence. That’s not repression. It’s justice. It’s what love does when it matures past appetite.
God’s sexual ethic isn’t about control. It’s about design, responsibility, and mercy. He isn’t trying to steal our joy. He’s insisting that joy is safe. He’s insisting love has architecture. He’s insisting we treat glory like glory.
Once I saw that, God stopped looking invasive. He looked profoundly responsible.
God is saying to you today:
Look back and remember the moments when I made a way for you when the solution arrived out of nowhere, when the timing was too precise to be coincidence, when the door opened exactly when you needed it. Think about the times I protected you, redirected you, provided for you, and worked things out in ways you didn't expect.
Don't let your mind settle on the problem; settle it on Me. What you dwell on shapes what grows in your life. Fix your thoughts on My goodness, My promises, and My faithfulness. What I'm preparing for you is greater, richer, and more meaningful than anything you've experienced before. I will answer your prayers, and I will do it in a way that reveals My hand in every detail.
Bestselling Christian Author Philip Yancey Confesses to 8-Year Extramarital Affair.
Scripture has always warned that gifting visibility and success do not protect a man from sin. Let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall 1 Corinthians 10:12. Moral collapse rarely begins in the bedroom. It begins in the heart long before.
Men, guard your hearts. Not casually. Not occasionally. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life Proverbs 4:23. Unchecked desires unconfessed sin and private compromises always grow in the dark. No ministry calling no reputation and no past faithfulness makes a man immune.
This is also a reminder that our trust must never rest in personalities. Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation Psalm 146:3. Christ alone is faithful. Christ alone never falls.
Let this not become gossip or spectacle. Let it become warning. Let it drive us to humility repentance and vigilance. Flee from sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. And let every man remember that finishing well matters more than starting strong.
@elanfaith I could easily say this is the best write up I have read this year! And to add to the fact that it resonates with our sermon topic at church yesterday on Christmas day is amazing 👏 Jesus the indescribable gift
