Absolutely agree. I had the same when using the disabled toilet with radar key. My daughter has ADHD no concept of waiting and also no awareness of danger and needs constant supervision. The signage needs changing as a disability is not always physical

I got some criticism yesterday for saying Ryan walked around town after we had parked in a disabled bay people questioning the need for a disabled bay for someone that can walk ironically the tweet was about hidden disabilities,you do not have to be in a wheelchair to apply for a blue badge,they do not simply give away blue badges !!!! I am Ryan's full time carer and have to hold his hand at all times as Ryan's what's known as a flight risk he has very little awareness of dangers such as traffic and will freely wander off, far more awareness and education of hidden disabilities is needed.

@ADDitudeMag No, it doesn’t work most of the time. A different approach to getting my daughter to understand what you need her to do is the key.

So far we have not had any side effects of loss of appetite, which is a blessing. Getting her to sleep has always been an issue anyway, so no change there and as far as I’m aware, she does sleep eventually, once we can get her into bed 😩

@ADDitudeMag Too true, exactly how my daughter is. A regular battle at bath/bedtime, repetitive demands are ignored or she forgets what has just been asked if her.
