To strengthen Kerala's anti-drug mission, #OperationToofan and dismantle inter-state drug trafficking networks, I have written to the @CMofKarnataka, @CMOTamilnadu and @CMO_Puducherry seeking enhanced coordination. Real-time intelligence sharing, joint operations and coordinated planning are essential to eradicate the drug menace. I have proposed a high-level meeting to formulate a joint action plan and ensure a joint fight against narcotics.

Under the leadership of Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala @chennithala, State Police Chief Ravada Chandrasekhar and Tactical Commander Putta Vimaladitya will hold discussions with the Police Chiefs and higher officials of Home Departments of #Karnataka, #TamilNadu and #Puducherry to strengthen coordinated efforts against inter-state drug trafficking.

The opposition has launched a campaign of false propaganda even before the government has completed one month in office. When four Vice-Chancellors, including a leader of a #CPM-feeder organisation, participated in an #RSS programme attended by supremo Mohan Bhagwat, the then Chief Minister refused to say it was wrong. The same person who remained silent then is now criticising us from the opposition benches. The then Higher Education Minister had also stated that there was nothing wrong with Vice-Chancellors attending an RSS event. These facts cannot be conveniently forgotten. The people of #Keralam are well aware of the truth and can clearly distinguish facts from propaganda.

Firstly, congratulations to the RSS on completing 100 years.

An organisation that claims over 60,000 shakhas and crores of swayamsevaks must also uphold transparency and constitutional accountability.

As per RSS’ highest and most important decision making body Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’s 2025–26 Karnataka report, the RSS has 4,127 daily shakhas, 1,389 weekly milans, 60 monthly mandalis, 2,194 Samajotsavas with 19.61 lakh participants and held 562 route marches with 2.21 lakh uniformed participants in the state.

With such scale and influence, the RSS must clarify its legal status, registration, office bearers, funding, expenditure, taxation and permissions for public activities.

If citizens, labour, NGOs, trusts, temples and companies are expected to register, disclose and comply with the law, why should the RSS remain exempt?

In its centenary year, the RSS must responsibly abide by the Constitution and register, disclose, pay applicable taxes and function transparently within the Constitution.

As suggested in my letter, I am looking forward to hearing from @RSSorg soon.

1980: Congress + DMK alliance won the parliament elections (Indira as PM face) and lost the assembly elections (Karunanidhi as CM candidate)
2004: INC + DMK alliance swept the parliament elections, in next assembly elections DMK was unable to secure majority

2009: INC + DMK alliance won majority parliament seats in TN, in next assembly elections the alliance lost badly because of corrupt DMK government.

2019: Congress + DMK alliance won the parliament elections (Rahul as PM face) and DMK lost the assembly by-elections

2024: Again Congress + DMK alliance won the parliament elections and DMK lost the 2026 assembly elections.

The mandate is clear that people wanted congress at the centre and never wholeheartedly voted for DMK in the assembly elections.

The first time INC allied with DMK was in 1971, giving your dead-ass party a rejuvenation. We gave the support without contesting from any seats that let you win 184 seats.

The next time both the parties formed alliance was in 1980 when Congress and DMK won 37/39 in the parliament elections and your dead-ass DMK could only win 37 in the assembly elections.

Next time both the parties allied was in 2004. (Excluding the betrayal to moopanar by DMK)

Until this point, DMK had a maximum of 4 ministers in the union cabinet under V.P Singh.

Then came 2004, when Congress gave you the highest ever (6 ministers 2 cabinet + 4 Mos) representation when your dead-ass party was struggling to compete with A1 (2006 you lot own just 96 seats at our mercy).

In UPA2, again DMK enjoyed 3 cabinets + 4 Mos, when things got tough in 2013, DMK betrayed Congress and walked out of the alliance, only to come begging back to our support to make Kanimozhi, a MP, once you got what you wanted, DMK announced there's no alliance by end of 2013.

In 2014, DMK contested the elections without Congress and got routed across the state despite allying with 5 other parties.

In 2016, again you lot came back inviting us to join the alliance. If there's any party that benefitted from the alliance it's DMK not Congress. We carried you on our backs while you leeches sucked our party's blood.
