@BowTiedBull And embiid didn’t have a barrier to entry? Guy watched YouTube videos to learn to shoot.
I agree with the general premise of your argument but you can’t say nature = 100% and nurture is 0%.
Scale varies with the technicality of a sport/skill set
@BowTiedOx Reasonable numbers. Was at this then pulled my back.
Having a tougher time getting back to those for squat/deadlift. Bench still north of 275, but with the back closer to 1:1 with squat/deadlift. Becoming “that guy”, gotta rehab my back
@bowtiedkobra @BowTied_Bengal X-ray for stress fracture was about 5 months after the initial pain
But this was over a year ago, and I’ve done a number of consecutive months with no running or anything so I don’t think it’s a stress fracture.
Heard similar sentiment from dr though, X-rays miss these often
@bowtiedkobra @BowTied_Bengal Definitely numbness and tingling when I wake up. I’ll go to take a step out of bed and feels like my foot is asleep almost. Then sharp pain (somewhat all over, but primarily top of foot)
Unsure what nerve pain feels like, but there is not much pain to the touch
@bowtiedkobra @BowTied_Bengal Do have primary pain in between toes and top of foot (slightly back from toes) when I wake up.
During activity I first feel it on the bottom of the foot.
A bit difficult to pinpoint exact spot as it is more of a ‘dull’ pain after a while of exercise.
@bowtiedkobra @BowTied_Bengal Original pain started 2 years ago after a long run, thought it was a stress fracture , got X-ray and wasn’t it.
Took about 8 months off and pain still persisted so haven’t really ran in a year or so. Can do activity up to a limit before pain.
Feels more tendon than bone
After a bachelor party this weekend I got back on track
Side hustle: still learning swift for my app idea. Focusing on data for now
W-2: nothing to note, grinding along studying my actuarial exams. This just eats up time
Health: lifted/jump roped to sweat it out
Health: down 10lbs in January back to 187, hoping to be closer to 180 in the summer. Back at my playing weight
Have a kink in my neck that I can’t quite kick. Need to start implementing wrestler bridges back into my routine
Been considering 3x/week lifting & 1 yoga
Haven’t been as consistent these past few days.
Side hustle: Up to day 60 of #100DaysOfSwiftUi there’s a few challenges so will likely spend a few days here to let it sink in.
Today was a tough one to get through everything on my plate:
Side hustle: Day 58 of #100DaysOfSwiftUi complete. Understood Core Data's filtering process at a high level, but may need to come back to this one
Health: Lifted legs + 30 mins of walking
Actuarial studying: 3/3
