The @HRC deleted the tweet about a girl being a boy because she loves to play with toy trucks, presumably because they discovered very few people think lying to a child based on their toy preferences is something to be celebrated.

This will be my last tweet on the subject, however wanted to clarify my position for those who have questioned whether I'm a 'transphobe'.

It is a subject that I think very little about, but when I do, I treat it like it like religion.

I think every religion is equally untrue but I will always treat any individual who chooses to believe in any God, with respect and kindness.

I shouldn't have to share their views and beliefs to respect them.

Similarly, I dont believe for a second that an individual can change sex, however if I meet someone who identifies as a man or woman, I will treat them with the same respect and kindness as I would anybody else.

I take issue when I am told that is isn't enough to accept that they believe in a God, or that they self-identify as X or Y (or more accurately XX or XY), but I MUST AGREE with their beliefs or ideologies.

I am under no obligation to share someone else's beliefs and my respect only ends when I am told what I have to say, think or feel.

My thoughts, feelings and language are sacrosanct.
