@Huriye Hope the videography is better today - the lighting was very hit and miss @BritishIceSkate

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@Huriye @Mark_Hanretty Oh I do agree! I was looking forward to a nostalgic return of beautiful interpretive, clean, testing edge skating. I understand the need to attract new viewers but not at the expense of the sport? Maybe I’m old and need to get with it? 🤷‍♀️

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@Huriye @absoluteskating @Mark_Hanretty @ToniaKIce Agreed. The commentators have before, after and during replays to yap ( and us enjoy and listen). Respecting the athletes during their performance should be mandatory. It’s akin to talking over actors whilst they are performing!

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@AngiTalkSkating Just congratulate them then? You knew what you were inviting and are getting the responses you asked for already 👏. Not old enough for pearls #bekind

@contimacii Edward 🍎 🐝

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@contimacii I would urge you to give yours to the ISU and BIS to aid improvement so you can enjoy your experience. You will have to use a real name to be taken seriously though. 👍

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@contimacii Zamboni- I’m not sure that’s avoidable and is a constant in most rinks. I can’t comment on music probs as I only heard 1 issue. IMO these days no security issues are too great to be an be inconvenience. After 2012, which was truly awful, all feedback was gathered and reflected on

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@contimacii Please explain- I thought it went perfectly? Certainly the best I’ve attended - including Olympics! I’m intrigued what went wrong for you?

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@Huriye I think in this case Gui probably gets up earlier than any female skater to prepare!

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@b1jjeko @chn_nebelhorn Not quite what she actually says tbf. Lots of actual info from her book here.
I feel for her deeply but let’s not misrepresent facts

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@madihubnation @kagiyamas @BritishIceSkate @Mark_Hanretty Big BOOOO from me 😤👎

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@kagiyamas Agree- not sure why @BritishIceSkate have introduced this? Also it cuts off the onscreen replays for those in arena so we can’t look at jumps again 🙁
Not a positive change at all - the K&C wasn’t broke - leave it alone!! @Mark_Hanretty - have a word love!

[Dawn Kent @DawnKent11]

@ganseyboy1 @tirolconcerto @BritishIceSkate Plse stop the awful interviews with skaters full stop!! Let them catch their breath, get their jackets on &interact with their coaches. “Have you tried Yorkshire pudding yet” “skating aside, your dress is pretty” from @Mark_Hanretty & Mollyso cringe 🫣🥴
