It was shocking to learn about the lack of #mentalhealth supports for youth & the difficulties in navigating the system when my son experienced a mental health crisis in his late teens. I hope #BellLetsTalk initiatives help in this regard. It should not be so hard to get help.
Some students are quiet not because they’re unengaged or unprepared but because they value the discussion so much that they’re willing to contribute only their most urgent and fully thought-out ideas.
It’s taken me, a talkative person, a long time to realize that.

You’ve done it again! Thanks to everyone who’s participated so far – you’ve helped us reach more than 138 million interactions, topping last year’s total. There’s still time to join the conversation. Thank you for your support, we couldn’t have done it without you. #BellLetsTalk
How can you envision that 1 in 5? To put it in perspective, in Canada, that would be equal to the populations of Nunavut, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, PEI, Newfoundland, and the Yukon and Northwest Territories combined! #BellLetsTalk
