Haley Voters for Harris Director Craig Snyder: There actually is a little bit of data that’s not anecdotal. Blueprint did a survey that was released last week, and it showed that something like 40% to 45% of the Haley voters are likely to “go home,” in other words, vote for Donald Trump because their Republican identity ends up sort of winning the day. But that means a majority, 55% or so, are at a minimum open to voting for Vice President Harris.

It looks like something like a third of the Haley voters have already decided to vote for the Vice President, like myself, which means that there’s something like 20% to 25% left that can be influenced. And that’s what we’re doing—we’re giving them messengers who are other Haley voters, other Republicans who’ve made this decision, who are talking about why they’ve made the decision. And we think we’re going to get the lion’s share of that remaining group of people over the hump.

So, let’s just say that it ends up being that something like half of the Haley voters vote for Vice President Harris. That is close to, and in some cases greater than, the margin in these swing states. So this could be a very, very important, if not decisive, group of votes.
