Metaplanet will acquire Siiibo Securities for JPY 2.1 billion ($13 million). The acquisition gives Metaplanet a securities license and distribution platform, supporting plans to launch BTC-linked bonds, security tokens, and other Bitcoin-related financial products as part of its Project Nova strategy. Metaplanet currently holds 40,177 BTC, ranking as the world’s third-largest corporate Bitcoin holder.
