ُToday (June 3) is 249th death anniversary of Ahmad Shah Abdali/Durrani, founder of the Durrani Empire & modern #Afghanistan
He died in 1772 in his family fort in Maruf region of Kandahar &was buried in #Kandahar city.
His family stronghold was destroyed by the British in 1839. 1
