A lot of things could happen in that time period
“What’s the point of having National Championships if performances there don’t determine selection?”
Demisha Roswell 🇯🇲 has announced that she hasn’t been selected for the Commonwealth Games team.
In a detailed statement on Instagram, she revealed that a list of athletes had already been submitted and that the deadline was at the end of March.
As stated on the JAAA website, the JAAA Championships would be used to select teams for various events, including the Commonwealth Games. There was no mention that a list of athletes had already been submitted.
Demisha clocked a personal best of 12.40 seconds to win the 100m hurdles at the JAAA Championships — a time that would have secured a medal at every edition of the Commonwealth Games.
