My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.
Here's the amazing Flint Northern class of 1976 which those of us from Flint Central had to hear about all the time, Eric Mays and others have passed too soon but the community spirit of this class carries on. Our condolences to all of his friends and family
Saddened by the death of my friend, Eric Mays.
Eric and I graduated from Flint Northern High School together in 1976. Decades later, we would call one another by the nickname ‘76’ because of our fond memories together as classmates.
Here's a link to one of the most memorable moments of my first campaign in 2007 when I was the guest on "The Eric Mays Show." This is how we had to do it before TikTok: https://t.co/9jLkl6sgGO
Yesterday Flint lost a generation-defining activist and public servant with the passing of Councilman Eric Mays. He was a fierce champion for Flint with a big heart for the community. As a man of God and pastor's son, I know he's now up in heaven and it's never going to the same
Before joining the Insight team, I didn't imagine having the opportunity to work on rural healthcare issues. Many similar challenges as with central cities and unequal access. Meeting a lot of amazing, dedicated people and on a steep learning curve
Rural and underserved areas continue to face significant health care access challenges. This week, I met with the Iowa Rural Health Association to discuss ways that we can work to improve access and quality health care for rural Americans. #IA01

We’ve got to ensure every citizen, regardless of who they vote for or where they live, can have confidence that their vote will count and their voice is heard.
Here’s 5 ways to increase that confidence. Thanks @washingtonpost for highlighting our work.

Many of our secretaries of state are standing up for our democracy including our own @JocelynBenson and @NewDEALLeaders, summary here, election deniers face a nationwide wave of pushback https://t.co/3y5dQFZcL1
@phillyphilFlint@HealthySpartans@michiganstateu we need more outrage and we need more policy change, the gun safety and social reforms I want to see in Michigan will save lives in all communities, and we need these changes at the federal level too
